Shipping and Returns
General Return Policy
We aim to provide a hassle-free shopping experience. Returns or exchanges can be initiated within 15 days of receiving your order and items must be returned within 30 days of receiving the order. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging to qualify for a return. Proof of purchase is required.
Initiating a Return
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at contact@greatcanadianfishingstore.ca. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

Restocking Fee
- A 5% restocking fee will be applied to returns, except for defective or damaged items.
Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged.
- If a return is accepted, the original shipping cost of the order will be excluded from the refund.
- For any returns being shipped back to us, we strongly encourage the opting in of any tracking or insurance services provided by the shipper, as we can not guarantee the arrival of the items by the shipper.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Used, worn, or washed items.
- Clearance or promotional items.
- Gift cards.
Damaged or Defective Items
- Inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Report any damage or defects to contact@greatcanadianfishingstore.ca within 7 days of delivery.
- Defective items will be replaced or refunded in full, including shipping costs. In some cases, warranty claims may need to be filed with the manufacturer (e.g., fishing rods).
Exchanges
If you need a different size, colour, or item, contact us, and we will work with you to find a solution. Customers are responsible for shipping costs for exchanges unless the error is on our part.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
