Hi, I’m Abbey Greenfield — lifelong angler, proud wife, and mom, and the heart behind RARE Lures. I started this business in January 2025 after unexpectedly losing my job. Instead of seeing it as a setback, my family and I saw an opportunity to turn our passion for fishing into something meaningful — and that’s how RARE Lures was born.
RARE Lures is a family-owned and operated business, built from the ground up by me and my husband, Russell. Every rig we sell is hand-tied with care, precision, and a deep understanding of what makes a great day on the water even better. Whether you’re chasing trophy bass, ice fishing in the winter, or just casting a line on the weekend, we create custom rigs designed to suit any angler’s needs.
The name RARE Lures is more than just a brand — it’s a reflection of our family. The word “RARE” comes from the first initials of the people who mean the most to me: R for Russell (my husband), A for Abbey (that’s me), R for our son Russell, and E for our daughter Estelle. Everything we do is inspired by them, and every rig we make carries a little piece of our story.
