Since forever, anglers have cast their lure into the depths without insight into its performance or behavior beneath the water's surface – simply throwing that $15-$20 lure into the pond and hoping for the best.
Unlike other sports, such as running, golf, and even tennis (TENNIS!), where wearable electronics and data have become key to advancing your performance, anglers have relied on luck and moon phases for their entire fishing adventures. Most of all, they have accepted not knowing what's going on with their lure underwater.

GET DEPTH KNOWLEDGE
We've been working on the design for years, constantly making it smaller and smarter. It's weighted and balanced with precision, rigorously tested by us and a full crew of professional anglers (and that other guy). The incredible tech is encapsulated in a stealthy, aerodynamic body designed not to wobble and won't draw attention or affect the presentation of your lure. It's simply designed and built to go unnoticed. But it's damn good-looking.
This Is How It Works
After being attached to the fishing line, PROBE monitors every cast, collecting data on movements, pressure, and temperature at each depth. Once above the surface, it instantly connects to the PROBE APP, providing you with a complete visual of your lure's journey through the water—every depth, temperature, speed, strike, and reel stop—allowing the angler to analyze and adjust for their next cast with unparalleled precision.
DEPTH MATTERS, TARGET YOUR DEPTH
A common saying is that the rule of three to catch more fish is: 1) to fish where there are fish..., 2) to fish with the right lures, and 3) to fish at the right depth. Depending on atmospheric pressure, clarity, and terminal layers of the water column, fish have a certain comfort zone for where they hunt and prey. By knowing the depth of your lures, you will significantly improve your catch rate.
Stop guessing the depth before retrieving your lure. Based on your previous cast, the app provides a LIVE estimation of your lure's depth directly on your phone's display. Get a live visual on your lure reaching that target depth or have your phone buzz in your pocket when it's time to retrieve.
SEE THE TEMPERATURE AT EACH DEPTH
OK, sure, we are aware of marine electronics like livescope sonars—and there's nothing wrong with those. But for those of us who don't have $3000 and don't want to turn their fishing experience into a video game, PROBE is an excellent alternative. Just like a runner with their running watch, the angler can use PROBE to adjust their cast straight away or choose to analyze it at home on the couch, drawing parallels between weather, water temperature, and the depth at which the fish struck. Either way, it's without taking a second away from what you love most—fishing.
We know that fish are a bit picky about their preferred temperatures, constantly migrating to different depths to find the right conditions for hunting. Unlike traditional fish finders, PROBE provides insights throughout the entire water column, and not just at the surface. Get insight into where that temperature peaks or drops, or target your depth just where that thermocline zone is.
PROBE easily attaches above the leader with regular float stoppers. Its lightweight and clever design make it work with every lure.

We have a bucket of ideas of future upgrades of the app. How about lure color recommendations, based on the water light conditions, provided from PROBEs light meter; or what about seeing all the basic info directly on your Smartwatch? We can go on. We promise you it's gonna be an heck of a journey.
