Dan Marson, a veteran tournament angler, was born and raised near Sudbury, Ontario. Currently residing in Waverley, Dan's passion for fishing began in his youth and evolved into a professional career in the mid-80s when he started competing in fishing tournaments.
Dan fishes an impressive average of 10 tournaments a year, showcasing his dedication and skill. His career began with pro-am tournaments, which laid the foundation for his future success. Over the past six years, Dan's achievements include winning four tournaments, earning two Angler of the Year awards, and consistently finishing in the top 5 ten times. His expertise and commitment have also led him to represent Team Ontario, further solidifying his status in the angling community.
Most recently, Dan has qualified for the prestigious 2024 CSFL Classic, marking another milestone in his distinguished career. His journey from Sudbury to Waverley, and his relentless pursuit of excellence, make him a respected and admired figure among fellow anglers.
